When you contact us directly — for example by emailing us, completing a contact form on the website, or connecting with us via LinkedIn. In this case we may collect your name, email address, job title, company name, and the content of your message.

When you visit our website — our website is hosted on Squarespace, which collects certain technical data automatically when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. This data is collected via cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6 for more detail on cookies.

When we correspond with you in a business context — if you are a client, potential client, or professional contact, we may hold your name, email address, employer, job title, and records of our communications.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as health information, financial data, or identity documents) through this website. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16.

Improving our website: We use aggregated, anonymised website analytics data to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its content and performance. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

We do not keep your personal data for longer than necessary. In practice:

•       Enquiries that do not result in an engagement: we typically retain correspondence for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted unless there is an ongoing reason to keep it.

•       Client records: we retain records related to active and completed client engagements for up to six years, in line with standard UK business and tax record-keeping requirements.

•       Website analytics data: retained by Squarespace in accordance with their own data retention policies.

•       Professional contact records: retained for as long as the professional relationship is active. If you ask us to remove your details, we will do so promptly.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share your data with the following categories of third parties where necessary to operate our business:

Squarespace Inc. — our website platform provider, who processes data on our behalf as a data processor. Professional advisors — such as our accountant or, where applicable, legal advisors, who may need access to certain records to provide their services. These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

We do not currently use any email marketing platforms, CRM systems, or advertising networks that process personal data on our behalf beyond those listed above.
